Her first job in the media was as a traffic reporter for CBS-3 in Philadelphia, where she worked for many years. She remained there for the next three years, leaving in March of 2015. In addition, she worked in the radio industry as a co-host for shows such as “The Chio in the Morning” on 96.5, “The Morning Mash-Up” on Sirius Satellite Radio, and “The Booker Show” on Q102 Philadelphia.

She was enrolled in college at the time, but she took a leave of absence to compete for and ultimately win the title of Miss New Jersey USA in 2006. After that, she went on to represent the state of New Jersey in the Miss USA pageant in 2006, which took place in Baltimore, Maryland, and was broadcast on NBC. She did not end up in the top 10, which is a disappointing result.
Since then, she has modeled for Macy’s and Seventeen Magazine, and she has had an appearance in a television commercial for Conair Hair Products. In 2012, she made the journey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in order to begin working for CBS-3 Philadelphia as a traffic reporter.
She remained there for the next three years, leaving in March of 2015. She has cohosted shows on Sirius Satellite Radio’s The Morning Mash-Up, Q102 Philadelphia’s The Booker Show, and 96.5’s The Chio in the Morning during the course of her career. Boyington has been working as a traffic reporter for NBC10 News Today in Philadelphia since April 2015, and she has maintained her residence there ever since.

Then, when a renowned and well-known Philadelphia reporter named Sheena Parveen decided to leave her position at NBC10, she began working for NBC.
