Storyline
The main story and all the drama is about the Dalvi and the Deshpande family. Doctor Vikrant is the lead male character of this series who is a popular Gynecologist. Vikrant who is a doctor by profession is a very smart, practical, understanding, humble and sensible person. On the basis of Horoscope, the Vikrant marries Monika Deshpande who is very insensible and arrogant by nature.
Vikrant Dalvi was very keen about this relationship and to start a new beginning in his life. On the other hand, Monika was also very excited until she finds out that she was pregnant before the marriage by someone else. The child was most probably of her ex-boyfriend but she didn’t have a clue that she was pregnant. On the day of marriage, Vikrant was blown away when he discovers that his spouse Monica was already pregnant before marriage. This happened when he held her hand at the time of marriage and being a doctor by profession he instantly knew about the double heartbeats of Monika and her child.
Vikrant Dalvi didn’t have a clue about what to do next and he decided to keep it a secret until the birth of this child as it was a danger for the child. He could have easily got out of the scenario by rejecting the marriage on that itself but he did the other way. Eventually, after the birth of the girl child, Vikrant accepts her and names her ‘Isha’ and after a few days, he divorced Monika. Through all this scene and drama, Monika’s sister Manasi Deshpande became a good friend of Vikrant. Manasi was also a doctor by profession and she worked with Vikrant in his hospital. His friendship turned into love and Vikrant divorced Monika and married Manasi and they adopted Isha and lived happily thereafter.
Khulta Kali Khulena came on Zee Marathi from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm and it was one of the best Marathi series ever appeared on the Television screen. After completion of this beautiful drama series a new series named ‘Tujha Majha Breakup” was replaced after it. Due to the success of this series Omprakash Shinde (Vikrant Dalvi), Abhindya Bhave (Monika), and Mayuri Deshmukh (Manasi) came into limelight and their career was skyrocketed after this series.
